Here you will find abundant resources that will encourage you in your Christian walk with Jesus.

The ministries of the church are designed to fulfill the purposes of the church in evangelism, worship, fellowship, discipleship and soul winning. Church ministries provide avenues for each individual Christian to become an active partner in the infrastructure of the church. Our ministries are:

Adventist Youth Society (AYS) - The Adventist Youth Society works for, with and through the young. The youth are lead to Christ and trained for the Lord's work. Ministry Director: Sister Tangela Palmer

Adventurers - Adventurers is open to children ages 4 to 9 to develop a love for God with parental assistance through Bible Stufy, nature, community service and camping. Ministry Director: Sister Deborah McLean

Children's Ministries - The children in our church are not just the future--they are actively included in the ministries of the church today. Ministry Director: Sister Jennifer Johnson

Church Clerk - The Church Clerk assists in the smooth operation of the church by maintaining accurate records, membership count and records the church's official business decisions. Ministry Director: Sharon Broome

Communications - Communication uses print, sound, video to carry the everlasting gospel into the entire world. They also inform the church of newsworthy events.

Community Service - Part of being a good neighbor is providing services to our surrounding community. Ministry Director: Sister Patricia Bledsoe

Deaconess - Deaconesses care for the sick, the needy and the unfortunate. They co-operate with the deacons in this work. They assist in the Lord's Supper and baptism. Head Deaconess: Sister Glenna Murphy

Deacons - The deacons have responsibility for the care of church property. They assist in the ordinances of the church. They visit the sick and poor. Head Deacon: Brother Donald Banease

Elders - The local church elders provide spiritual Leadership. He or she must have a good reputation outside and inside the church. The elders lead worship services, nurture and encourage members, and ensure the church thrives. Head Elder: Brother Trenton Lewin, Sr.

Family Life Ministry - This ministry focuses on people in relationship. It is concerned with the needs of married couples, parents and children, singles, and all members of the wider family as they pass through life’s predictable stages and contend with unexpected changes in their lives. Fondren hosts family retreats, seminars, banquets and other fellowship-building events. Ministry Directors: Brother Trenton Lewin, Sr. and Sister Edna Lewin

Hospitality Department - The Ushers strive to make each person's worship experience meaningful and pleasant. From bulletin distribution to seat assignment, their quiet role ensures order in the sanctuary. Ministry Director: Sister Joy Beale

IT/Technology - This department exists to serve all other ministries in the church by providing their technical expertise. Ministry Director: Sister Jenise Davis

Master Guides - Master Guides is open to individuals ages 16 and up who are involved in training or have already been trained as specialists to work in all areas of the church that minister to children and youth. Ministry Director: Sister Sharon Cienfuegos

Men's Ministry - Men connecting with men in their church and community. Men's ministry engages the men of the church in spiritual activities geared towards the community as well as the improvement of the lives of the members. It is hoped that this will bring about a closer, spiritual church family. Ministry Director: Brother Stanford Elmes

Music Ministry - Music Ministry enhances the quality of worship with music to honor and glorify God and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ through song. Ministry Director: Sister Janet Williams

Pathfinder Club - The Pathfinder Club is part of a world-wide co-ed scouting type organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Juniors and teens in grades 5-12 of any religion, or none at all, are welcomed and encouraged to join this ministry. Ministry Director: Brother Harvey Johnson

Personal Ministries - The Sabbath School is the teaching arm of the church. It engages our members in the systematic study of the word of God. Ministry Director: Brother Alvin Luckett

Sabbath School - It exists to teach and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Department provides Sabbath School Bible Study Guides, designs material for Sabbath School programming, offers training and resources to teachers and members. Sabbath School Ministry Director: Brother Ewan Dawes

Single Adult Ministries - Our goal is to support and nurture relationships for single adults with each other and with other members of the church family. Ministry Director: Sister Marsha McLean

Women's Ministries - Women's Ministries provides the opportunity for women to grow spiritually and socially through a network of support groups active in the church. Ministry Director: Sister Beverly Bennett

Young Adult Ministry - Our goal is to support and nurture relationships for yound adults with each other and with other members of the church family. Ministry Director: Sister Caroline Omari

Youth Ministries - Youth Ministries provides support and encouragement for young people at what can be a most critical part of their Christian experience. Ministry Director: Sister Cheryl Harris
